The Eagle stands out with its unique properties. It is not just an electric scooter; it is a blend of design and technology, featuring an integrated handle-build-in dashboard. The scooter's minimalistic, curvilinear frame is designed to collapse and nest snugly together, allowing users to carry it over a shoulder or drag it behind as they switch between transportation modes during their commute.
The scooter's design is inspired by the need for innovation in the eco-mobility market. According to Survila, the creation of an innovative electric scooter with a continuous connection to smart devices was inevitable. The Eagle kick scooter folds with just one movement of the foot, and its control is possible via a Bluetooth connection on a smartphone. This allows for trip routing to achieve the fastest route to the destination and the selection of the most preferred layout of applications.
The Eagle scooter is not just about design and functionality; it also boasts impressive technical specifications. It is powered by a 36V motor that can develop a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The scooter can cover a distance of 15 km or 30 km with an extra battery. The scooter's dimensions when unfolded are 660mm (centre of front to back wheel) x 120mm width x 990mm height. When folded, the package dimensions are 430 mm x 130 mm x 1000 mm.
Survila's design is a product of his love for design and its power to change things for the better. The biggest challenge, he says, is not just creating a design or a sketch but a real product that can appear on shop shelves around the world. The Eagle scooter is indeed a real product, and it is a testament to Survila's belief in design as a tool for creating new ways of thinking and innovations.
The Eagle scooter is a patented design (Patented.76764.Citybirds.2017.EU) and is a winner of the Platinum A' Vehicle, Mobility and Transportation Design Award in 2018. This award recognizes world-class, exceptional, and highly innovative designs that showcase unmatched professionalism, contribute to societal wellbeing, and make the world a better place.
